Training on “Development of municipal programs for youth. Operation of the municipal councils and ways of influence”
Who is the training for? Young people aged 17-29 years regardless of their status, youth workers and members of NGOs working with youth who wish to acquire knowledge and training necessary for the development and implementation of community programs for youth.
Participants – 5 people from the municipality of Smolyan region with the exception of Smolyan municipality
Duration: 5 days
Learning Objectives: Trainees will gain knowledge about the idea of youth involvement in shaping local policies and to make clear to the youth structure of the municipal government, municipal councils and authorities, as well as ways of interaction between citizens and the municipality.
Format: Various kinds of training – presentations, lectures, interactive group sessions and role-plays, case studies and demonstrations.
Venue: Hotel “Ribkata” of the Smolyan Lakes – near the town of Smolyan.

Speaker: Radostin Deyanov – a lawyer, a young man with experience, represented Bulgaria in national and international youth initiatives.
Training is free for young people and they are provided hotel accommodation and meals. Travel expenses in one direction are paid after showing a bus ticket.
