Due to lack of information how to exercise their civil laws, young people do not feel the need to and do not affect the process of making decisions affecting youth policies in the municipalities they live in. “Sustainable NGOs for adequate youth policy” project aims to change that and to support the participation of civil society as an important factor in the formation of local youth policies; to develop the capacity of youth NGOs and youth groups in rural municipalities of Smolyan. Wider participation of the principle of partnership and public participation at regional and local level will be achieved through increasing the capacity of local young people and training them to approach decision-making, to fund opportunities, to write projects, to acquire confidence and practice at presenting ideas and positions. Implementation of the project will contribute to increasing the capacity of the “Ecoworld Rhodopes” Association to do their main activity and will involve new volunteers, by which will expand its activities throughout the area.
